Most people wait for a playbook. I built the platform before one existed.

In 2020 there was no clear model for premium content at YouTube scale. I built one anyway: an internet-first studio positioned as "early MTV meets HBO quality," aimed at the creator economy two years before it peaked.

I built a replicable weekly production model, kept the aesthetics premium but native to the feed, and designed a six-channel monetization plan so the platform could pay for itself in more than one way.

From Fall 2021 to August 2022: 1.5M-plus views, 85.6K watch hours, and 86K average views across 17 episodes. The audience skewed 58 percent aged 18 to 34 and 44 percent female, which outperformed 90 percent of YouTube channels. A former network VP came on as advisor.

Entering early is the advantage. By the time there's a playbook, the room is already full.
